These Toronto hotels were just named among the best in Canada

TripAdvisor has released its 2025 Travellers' Choice Awards, honouring hotels all around the world. The best of the best have been revealed, including the top spots in Canada. A handful of Toronto spots made the cut, and here are which ones.

According to the travel website, the awards are given based on "quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings specific to each subcategory posted on Tripadvisor." The time frame for the 2025 awards was over the 12-month period of Jan. 1, 2024 to Dec. 31, 2024. 

BISHA a Luxury Collection Hotel

The top Toronto hotel took 13th overall for Canada – BISHA a Luxury Collection Hotel.

Where: 80 Blue Jays Way

1 Hotel Toronto

1 Hotel, known for its environmental sustainability efforts, gorgeous interior and convenient location, came in at 20th.

Where: 550 Wellington St. W.

Sutton Place Hotel Toronto

Sutton Place Hotel is situated on the corner of King and Blue Jays Way, one of the most popular areas of the city.

Where: 355 King St. W.

The Hazelton Hotel

This five-star hotel is renowned for its luxurious amenities, including a saltwater pool and a relaxing spa.

Where: 118 Yorkville Ave.

One King West Hotel & Residence 

One King West is recognized by most Torontonians, situated at the iconic corner of King and Yonge Streets.

The historic hotel is truly beautiful and is one of my personal favourite places to stay in the city.
