Toronto tech companies are hiring for a bunch of jobs and many pay over $100K

If you work in tech, Toronto is still one of the best cities in the world to jump-start your career, despite all the ups and downs the industry has faced over the past few years.

Tech giants and homegrown startups are all hiring right now in Silicon Valley North for roles that range from software engineering to customer success, and a significant chunk of them pay well above $100,000, plus enticing perks to match.

Whether you're a seasoned pro looking to take the next step in your career or you're a recent graduate looking to get started in the industry, here are some tech companies in Toronto that are looking to grow their teams right now.

Alida

Alida is a Toronto-headquartered software company that specializes in helping brands create research communities to gather feedback to empower better user experiences.

Back in 2022, the company made headlines for piloting a four-day work week, and has since adopted summer Fridays, which offer employees Fridays off during July and August.

Alida is currently hiring for a bunch of roles in Toronto, including enterprise business development representative and customer success manager (research), both of which pay between $85,000 and $95,000. The company is also hiring for several remote positions, including an enterprise account executive role.

Microsoft

Microsoft's Toronto office plays a key role in the multi-trillion-dollar company's global cloud, enterprise, and AI operations, and there are currently multiple opportunities to join the team there.

Open positions with the company include software engineer, critical environment technician, construction project coordinator, and enterprise digital security specialist, which pay anywhere between $72,600 and $112,700.

Xanadu

Located in downtown Toronto, just a stone's throw away from College subway station, Xanadu is one of the country's leading quantum computing companies with a focus on photonics quantum hardware.

The company currently has openings in its finance, hardware, quantum architecture, software, and algorithms departments.

Open roles include payroll and treasury analyst, IT support specialist, and quantum architecture scientist, which offer a base salary range between $120,000 and $140,000.

Google

Google's awe-inspiring Toronto office serves as a major hub for the multi-trillion-dollar company's Cloud and advertising departments, and YouTube, communications, and marketing teams.

Toronto-based TouchBistro offers an all-in-one POS and restaurant management system that's designed to streamline everything from menu management to staffing. In total, the company has powered more than 29,000 restaurants around the world and continues to build its team right here in Toronto.

Open positions currently include AI content coordinator, customer training specialist, and senior full-stack developer, which pays between $130,000 and $150,000.
