Fans are doing everything they can to catch one last glimpse of Cristiano Ronaldo before he leaves Toronto.
Hundreds of supporters gathered at Centennial Park in the city's west end on Saturday as Portugal held its final training session before departing for Dallas for the Round of 16.
When Ronaldo stepped off the team bus, he acknowledged the crowd with a wave before heading inside for pre-training treatment. But that brief appearance wasn't enough for many of the fans.
Some supporters even climbed to the top of a baseball fence on the north side of the training grounds in hopes of catching a glimpse of the 41-year-old as Portugal trained behind closed doors.
At one point, roughly two dozen fans were perched atop the 25-foot fence, in hopes of a better view of one of soccer's biggest stars.
