Toronto's last FIFA World Cup match will be a memorable one, but don't count on getting any cheap tickets to it.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be in town as Portugal prepares to take on Croatia at Toronto Stadium on Thursday for their Round of 32 match. It's not every day that you have an international superstar like Ronaldo playing in Toronto, and soccer fans in the city are emptying their wallets to get tickets.
According to TicketData.com, the price to get into Toronto Stadium for Portugal vs. Croatia is sitting at a pricey $1,986 as of Sunday morning.

This match wasn't expected to get as pricey as it currently is. Before the matchup was set, the price to get into this Round of 32 knockout game was sitting around $1,500, but that quickly spiked when Portugal punched its ticket.
On Saturday night, ticket prices soared to an incredible $3,259 just to get into the stadium, before slowly coming down to just below the $2,000 mark on Sunday morning.
The Toronto ticket prices are among the most expensive in the entire Round of 32. Only Argentina vs. Cape Verde in Miami ($2,631) and Mexico vs. Ecuador in Mexico City ($2,646) are seeing higher prices.

It's no wonder that the prices in Toronto have gotten so high, as this will be one of the more interesting stages of the knockout round, and features two heavy-hitters. It's also the last chance that Toronto soccer fans have to watch World Cup action in the city.
Those prices stand in stark contrast to the other Round of 32 match being hosted in Canada. Vancouver's Switzerland vs. Algeria match have ticket prices hovering around $652.
It's even cheaper to get into Canada's Round of 32 match against South Africa in Los Angeles, with ticket prices sitting at just $467 hours before kickoff.
