Panamanian soccer fans love Toronto and even shouted out the TTC

Panamanian soccer supporters have descended on Toronto to cheer on their team in the FIFA World Cup, and it sure seems like they've been enjoying their stay.

Panama is gearing up to play its second of two games at Toronto Stadium on Tuesday, and blogTO caught up with fans of the Central American nation to get a sense of how they feel about our starring role as a host city.

We spoke to Panama supporters ahead of the team's first-stage Group L match on June 17. And while Panama would ultimately fall 1-0 to Ghana, fans were fired up before the match.

Visitors from Panama were impressed by Toronto's welcoming vibe, the clean streets, and even the TTC.

Panama will face Croatia at Toronto Stadium on Tuesday, June 23, at 7 p.m.
