Kyle Lowry names his top all-time Toronto Raptors and excludes notable teammate

When it comes to the greatest Toronto Raptors players in history, who better to ask than Kyle Lowry?

The Raptors legend was in the city last week for Prime Video's Upfront presentation to promote his upcoming analyst role on NBA on Prime.

While speaking with @PleaseRelateToThis, Lowry weighed in on who would make his Raptors Mount Rushmore.

Lowry named himself, Vince Carter, DeMar DeRozan, and Alvin Williams.

Interesting that he didn't mention Pascal Siakam.

Siakam spent eight seasons with Toronto and ranks fifth all-time in total games played (510), plus points scored (8,875). He was a key piece of Toronto's 2019 NBA championship team and won the NBA's Most Improved Player Award that same season.

When Lowry left, Siakam emerged as Toronto's perennial star, earning two NBA All-Star nods before being traded to the Indiana Pacers during the 2023-24 season in a package that included multiple first-round picks.

A year later, Siakam found himself back in the NBA Finals once again.

Of course, creating a Mount Rushmore is nearly impossible without creating some sort of uproar around leaving someone off the list.

The inclusion of Lowry, Carter, and DeRozan isn't up for debate. It's just the last spot, and there's no perfect answer.

Williams was a fan-favourite during his eight seasons in Toronto and has been a colour commentator on Raptors Sportsnet broadcasts in recent years. Lowry and Williams go way back, both being from Philadelphia, plus playing for Villanova University.

It seems Lowry just ended up throwing his friend into the mix to not step on any toes.

The 39-year-old just finished his 20th NBA season in a veteran role for his hometown team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Although Lowry has not announced his retirement just yet, the 2026-26 season was rumoured to be his final year.

When Lowry decides to make the decision or not, he's said he wants to sign a one-day contract with Toronto to officially retire as a Raptor.
