FIFA has unveiled host-city World Cup jerseys.
But brace yourself: the cost is comparable to a FIFA World Cup match ticket.
"Limited edition" jerseys for Canada's two FIFA World Cup host cities, Vancouver and Toronto, are now available for purchase. While the bold designs are likely to spark plenty of debate, one thing is certain: the price tag is already turning heads.
Each jersey carries a staggering $515 price tag, a number that has many fans questioning who exactly these products are being made for.
Last month, FIFA released limited-edition jerseys for four other host cities: New York/New Jersey, Kansas City, Seattle, and Boston. The response was less than enthusiastic. Fans blasted both the designs and the cost, with some joking they wouldn't spend $20 on them, let alone hundreds.
Now, it's Vancouver and Toronto's turn.

Both jerseys share the design with their respective host city posters, which were unveiled last year.

"The Vancouver jersey honours a city of breathtaking ambition, natural wonder, and a spirit of exploration that defines everything it does," an excerpt from FIFA's website reads.

Toronto's jersey is louder.
"The Toronto jersey celebrates one of the world's most diverse and culturally vibrant host cities, where football's global spirit feels truly at home," FIFA's description reads.

While fans are highly anticipating the World Cup, many have been frustrated with the high prices FIFA has set for matches. This latest jersey drop may add to that frustration.
