Here's how to get tickets for 2026 FIFA World Cup games in Toronto

Ticket information is slowly seeping in for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Men's World Cup matches will be held in Canada for the first time next year, with BC Place in Vancouver (7) and BMO Field in Toronto (6) hosting a total of 13 matches.

The majority of tickets will be distributed by FIFA, with information coming at a later date. But as a participating federation, Canada Soccer has been provided with its own allotment of tickets (likely to be 8 to 10 per cent of stadium capacity) for every Canada match.

Canada Soccer has revealed that it will hold a ticket allotment lottery with a weighted random draw. Fans can sign up through the CanadaRED fan club program, which will be the "exclusive platform for fans and supporters to access Canada Soccer's FIFA World Cup 26™ ticket allotment lottery."

Odds of success will be based on your CanadaRED tier — the higher the tier, the higher the chances of securing tickets.

"It'll be a lottery system for the public, like every other World Cup, really," Vancouver-born FIFA vice-president Victor Montagliani said in an interview last year. "The demand will obviously be quite high. The good thing is we'll have more inventory for this World Cup [than previous tournaments]."

Canada is scheduled to play three group-stage matches, in Toronto on June 12 and in Vancouver on June 18 and 24. The Canadian national team could also play up to an additional two knockout-round matches on Canadian soil, in the Round of 32 and the Round of 16, both in Vancouver.

The dates of the Canada Soccer ticket lottery and FIFA ticket lottery have yet to be officially revealed, though Claro Sports in Mexico is reporting that tickets will be available beginning in September.

World Cup ticket prices are still a mystery.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the largest World Cup in history, with 48 countries competing in 104 matches in Canada (13), Mexico (13), and the United States (78). The tournament takes place June 11 to July 19 next year.
