Momofuku Daisho, the center of the Momofuku sandwich housed inside the Shangri-La Hotel on University, is the moderate option from David Chang's highly anticipated arrival in Toronto. Specializing in shared plates for parties of 4-10, Daisho features taste-bud tantalizing treats with a bit of "snout-to-tail" spin. Not to say that pork is your only option; delectable chicken wings, scallion pancakes and so much more, well, it feels like a massive spoiler alert to reveal. Bottom line, eat here if you can. Opt for the Noodle Bar downstairs if it's a bit out of your allotted price range.
