Toronto townhouse designed by celebrity homebuilder hits market for under $4M

Most Toronto townhouses are builder-grade basic, but not 18A Deer Park Cres.

The extra-wide Georgian-style townhouse in the Yonge and St. Clair area was designed and built by Joe Brennan, a luxury home builder to the stars whose projects have included residences for ambassadors, broadcast moguls and more.

Brennan has spent decades designing and building custom homes in Canada, the U.S. and the Bahamas, with projects reportedly costing more than $50 million. He's also the visionary behind the former 1888 Victorian church conversion at 314 Palmerston Blvd.

So, unsurprisingly, 18A Deer Park Cres. isn't exactly your standard Toronto townhouse.

18A Deer Park Cres. was initially listed earlier this year for $3,850,000 before the asking price was increased to $4,115,000. Apparently, that strategy didn't find a buyer, because it's now back on the market with a $515,000 haircut.
