Ace Ontario-based celebrity architect Ferris Rafauli is impressing the masses with another stunning home design, this time for none other than social media stalwart and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Rafauli, famous for designing rapper Drake's Bridle Path home — aptly called "The Embassy" — took to Instagram to share his latest creation: Billionaire Bunker on Indian Creek in Miami.
He walks followers through his creative journey, from sketching the record-breaking masterpiece (more on this later) to sitting before the home's wooden structural skeleton and offering renderings of what the colossal estate will eventually look like inside.
The massive mansion is already making headlines — and for all the right reasons. Zuckerberg's latest investment was purchased for a record-breaking $170 million, making it one of the most expensive transactions in Miami's housing market.
Billionaire Bunker, the waterfront estate still under construction, will boast nine bedrooms, 15 washrooms, and a 5,700-litre aquarium. It will also include a hair salon, a private heated pool, and a gym. Talk about luxurious amenities.
Rafauli's followers quickly took to Instagram, which Zuckerberg reportedly purchased for upwards of $1 billion in 2012, to praise the latest design.
"Wow! You really put a lot of heart and soul into this design. The work is just splendid," one user wrote. Another echoed the sentiment, commenting, "The absolute GOAT. Your exterior and interior designs are second to NONE."
For the unversed, the Oakville-based Rafauli, who specializes in creating luxury homes, is the mastermind behind popular properties such as Muskoka Mansion and Oakville's Gold Coast, right here in Ontario.
There's currently no set completion date for this long-term development, but recent buzz shows that Billionaire Bunker is a highly anticipated project attracting widespread attention.
