Toronto holiday market's 50th year to feature 750 vendors and five new attractions

The One of a Kind Show has become an annual tradition in Toronto, and this year it returns with a landmark 50th-anniversary celebration.

To mark the half-century run, this year's One of a Kind Show promises to "introduce fresh new experiences that make this milestone year one to remember."

This year's theme is Candy Cane, and the show will lean into the idea of this iconic holiday sweet treat while retaining the classic offerings that visitors have grown to love.

Guests can shop from over 750 vendors offering everything from handmade goods to home decor and gourmet foods. But that's not all; this year it's introducing five new attractions as part of its 50th-anniversary celebration.

The market will kick things off with an opening ceremony, featuring entertainment and a ribbon-cutting. It's also bringing a "European-style Christmas Market" to the venue — a first for the show and something guests will surely appreciate.

As for the shopping experience, the show is debuting a Vintage Section where visitors can shop pre-loved goods, as well as a standalone Northwest Territories Pop-Up featuring five artisans from up north.

And for those who come for the festive culinary experience, there's an added lineup of food demonstrations and seasonal flavours in the works.

Bakers are also in for a treat with Colin Asuncion from The Great Canadian Baking Show, and current contributor on The Social, set to host a short segment on Nov. 29, highlighting his favourite eats at the market.

The One of a Kind Show runs from Nov. 27 to Dec. 7, opening daily at 10 a.m. Tickets start at $23 and go up to $99, depending on the experience guests opt for. A $2 service charge applies to each ticket, and they're now available for purchase on the event's official website. Guests can also view the full schedule and programming list online.

The show takes place at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, located at 100 Princes' Blvd.
