Canada's biggest night in music returns to Ontario in 2026 for citywide celebration

For the first time since 2015, the Junos are returning to Hamilton.

The 55th Annual Juno Awards will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at TD Coliseum, as announced by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) on Monday.

Canada's largest celebration of music includes the highly anticipated awards evening as well as the Juno Week festivities across Hamilton from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Tickets to the 2026 Juno Awards go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m.

The awards show will be broadcast live on CBC and CBC Gem for the whole country to enjoy.

Highlights will include 10-time Juno winner Nelly Furtado being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and music icon Joni Mitchell receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award Presented by your National Arts Centre.

"Hamilton has always been a city that lives and breathes music," said Allan Reid, President & CEO of CARAS/JUNO Awards and CEO of MusiCounts, in a release.

"To return here with an incredible lineup that includes Joni Mitchell and Nelly Furtado - two of Canada's most influential artists - is a fitting way to celebrate our country's rich musical legacy."

This will be the seventh time that Hamilton has hosted Canada's Biggest Night in Music in its over 50-year history.

Luminaries such as Jann Arden, Rick Mercer, and Anne Murray have hosted past Juno Awards at the same venue, formerly known as Copps Coliseum and FirstOntario Centre.
