toronto pride month 2026

Here's your guide to Toronto Pride Month for 2026

Pride Month in Toronto has officially begun, and the city is celebrating with weeks of parties, performances, and events leading up to the iconic parade honouring the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of Pride Month in Toronto, so it's safe to say Church-Wellesley Village will be buzzing with energy and busier than ever.

Whether you're looking to join in on the fun at the massive annual Pride Parade or a smaller yet lively event — think drag brunch, queer market or pool party — Pride Month has something for everyone.

Organizing your social calendar can be tricky this month, but we're here to help. Here's what's happening in Toronto for Pride Month 2026.

Parties

Pride Month essentially turns the city into one giant celebration, so it's only fitting that businesses across Toronto get in on the action with festivities of their own.

Cabana Pool Bar returns with what's often touted as one of Pride's hottest parties. The Mykonos-themed Pride Pool Party 2026 takes place June 18 from 6 p.m. to midnight and features RuPaul's Drag Race Season 18 stars Juicy Love Dion and Athena Dion, alongside DJs and performers for a fun night of music and dancing by the water.

Since last year's poolside soirée was such a hit, the team is also bringing back fan-favourite entertainers like Sanjina DaBish Queen, adding a touch of nostalgia to the festivities.

There are far too many parties to list in one guide, but if you're looking to rave into the early hours of the morning, Wiggle Room's 8th Annual Wiggly's Pride Party may be your scene.

The nightclub is upping the ante with a marathon rager that starts on June 27 at 10 p.m. and runs until 7 a.m. the next day. Organizers have packed the lineup with performers and entertainers, so be prepared to dance well after the sun comes up.

If you can't party all night long, literally, you still have chances to party throughout the weekends.

This year's Village Fest will once again transform Church-Wellesley Village into a vibrant hub of queer celebration. From DJ sets to drag shows, the festival has one thing on its mind: celebrating. The Pride Month showdown takes place from June 19 to 21, every night from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Toronto in June basically comes down to a strict two-step program: party all weekend, and call in sick on Monday.

Markets

There's truly no better time to support local queer artists and makers than during Pride Month, which is why the various markets and pop-ups happening around the city hit a little differently.

For starters, check out Glad Day Lit's Pride Month Artist Market. The historic bookstore, at its new location at 32 Lisgar St., is spotlighting more than 60 local vendors from the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The market takes place June 6 and June 13, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free.

Then there's BACKYARD: Pride Celebration, taking place at STACKT Market on June 6 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. This "joyful collision of self-expression" gives community members and allies the chance to support local vendors while enjoying show-stopping drag performances and a high-energy dance party.

It's part market, part fête, if you ask me.

And if that's not enough, here's another one worth adding to your calendar. St. Lawrence Market Pride is bringing together local vendors and throwing workshops, music and food into the mix. If you're a fan of Canada's Drag Race, breakout star BOA will be performing live on-site.

It's all taking place on Market Street, one of Toronto's most historic streets, on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Drag performances

Pride Month wouldn't be complete without drag, and while many events across Toronto offer a taste of this art form, some put it front and centre.

So, if you're a big fan of drag, consider checking out Magic Dyke on June 4 and June 5 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. each night, and Drag Me to the Opera on June 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., both of which blend queer performance with comedy, music, and a whole lot of drama.

The biggest drag expo in Canada is making its way to the city on June 6 at Metro  Toronto Convention Centre. If you want to spend the day immersed in drag culture and meet some of the biggest queens in the world, tickets to Fierce & Fabulous Expo are on sale now.

And if you're looking for drag with a side of brunch — because who wouldn't want a mimosa while watching a dazzling revue? — head to Vive La Drag Pride Brunch on June 20, where your $20 ticket includes a complimentary welcome drink (with non-alcoholic options available).

And, while the city's calendar is packed all month long, one event brings it all together: the Drag Ball.

Billed as "the biggest drag event of the year," this annual ball returns this month with a stacked lineup of performers, including the entire cast of Canada's Drag Race Season 6. That's nine hours of drag performances from artists across Canada and around the world. Tickets are on sale now for the June 27 event, running from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Other events

For anyone wanting to get active, Toronto Pride Ride 2026: Neon Riders is returning for a 20-kilometre ride through the city. The ride begins at Nathan Phillips Square on June 25 from 7 p.m and runs until 11:30 p.m. It's free to join, suitable for all skill levels, and a great way to celebrate Pride while getting some fresh air and exercise.

Parades

Arguably, the biggest event of the month is Toronto's iconic Pride Parade. This end-of-June parade attracts more than three million spectators every year, and spotlights activists, organizations, community groups, and performers on colourful floats.

Once again, the parade is taking over Yonge Street on June 28 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. And for those who know how the final Pride weekend goes, it will be followed by plenty of after parties to give Toronto's 2026 Pride Month an epic send-off.

But before all that goes down, both the Trans Rally and the Dyke March take place before the Pride Parade on June 26 and 27, respectively, if you're looking to get involved.

Remember that while Pride Month is all about supporting our friends in the 2SLGBTQ+ community, our advocacy and meaningful allyship should always extend far beyond June.
