15 things to do in Toronto this weekend

Things to do in Toronto this weekend include a lighting ceremony, winter markets happening around town, and a free exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum.

Among the many holiday markets happening in town, the Distillery Winter Village is on until Jan. 4, 2026. Aside from this market, there is also Winterfest Toronto at Harbourfront Centre, and the one-day-only We Love Willowdale Christmas Market happening at Mel Lastman Square in North York.

The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train is making its annual stop at 750 Runnymede Rd. this Saturday. Attendees can expect lots of festive cheer and special performances by Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse.

For anyone looking to stay out of the cold, Toronto's Union Winter Union Beats Skate Night takes place every Friday; head on over there and skate to the beats of some of Toronto's most popular DJs.

There are so many more things to do in Toronto this weekend. So, be sure to read our previous round-ups and also check out the complete events calendar to plan your weekend itinerary.
