labubu rave party toronto

A new Labubu rave is coming to Toronto this month

Are you a Labubu lover? Do you like a good rave? Or, perhaps you just love getting in on the latest viral trend. If any of the above sound like you, then an upcoming Labubu Rave in Toronto is where you'll want to be.

Though it may sound more like a meme than reality, Industry Entertainment is hosting a Labubu-themed rave later this month, and it's completely free to enter before 11 p.m. — that is, as long as you bring your Labubu.

Because yes, these plushies are still blowing up in a big way.

Labubu's recent surge in popularity has inspired multiple events in the city already, from a dance party that took place last month to a dedicated meet-up for collectors and fans of the toy at Union Station's Union Summer event series.

Though the latter of the two ended up actually being cancelled due to "overwhelming response" and capacity concerns, it seems that based on social media comments regarding these gatherings, when it comes to Labubu, Toronto is very divided.

Tickets for this latest Labubu-themed shindig, which happens Saturday, August 30, are available online for anyone afraid of taking their chances at the doors, and run from $15 to $28.25.

Labubu Rave will take place The Parkdale Hall, located at 1605 Queen Street West, Unit 2.
