Popular street festival returns to Toronto next month with over 180 vendors

A massively popular street festival is returning to Toronto this summer, and you'd better bring an appetite along to this must-visit Scarborough event.

The 22nd edition of Taste of Lawrence, presented by TD, is happening from July 3 to 5 in the heart of the Wexford Heights BIA.

The must-visit three-day event is a showcase of music, culture, soccer and live entertainment. Festival-goers will also discover over 180 food vendors serving dishes from around the world.

The free Taste of Lawrence festival will take place along a stretch of Lawrence Avenue East between Warden and Birchmount. Expect to chow down on a wide variety of street eats, like jerk chicken, curries and more.

"Get ready for a special edition of Taste of Lawrence as we kick off the summer and celebrate the world's biggest game in unforgettable fashion," said Wexford Heights BIA, which represents over 250 businesses in the area, on the events website.

The fun begins with an opening ceremony and parade on Friday, July 3, at 6 p.m.

Those revelling in footie fever will want to stop by the new TOL Soccer Hub, with free watch parties and game screenings, activities and giveaways, interactive experiences, and family-friendly programming.

Plan on checking out the main stage as well as the returning Rising Stars Talent Showcase, featuring talented acts from across the region,

Also back for 2026 is the fan-favourite The Ultimutts Animal Actors Show, with tricks, laughs, and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. There will also be a midway with rides and games.

If you want to sit back and enjoy the sunshine without the hustle and bustle, the festival also annually offers a beer and wine garden.

One of the best parts to look forward to is the festival's big giveaways: if you fill out the Taste of Lawrence 2026 survey at the survey booth near Ainsdale Rd., you will be entered for a chance to win prizes like an all-inclusive trip to Antigua and Barbuda.
