Wondering where you can go for your dose of fireworks on Labour Day weekend? Well, here are some hotspots you might want to stake out for a great pyrotechnic show.
Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan is bringing back its annual display of Labour Day fireworks. You can catch the show on August 31 at approximately 10 p.m. for 15 minutes, and cap off the holiday weekend with their epic grand finale.
If you've ever witnessed Wonderland's displays, you know to expect a larger-than-life show synced to music, best viewed from inside the park.
For anyone looking for a mini road trip, Niagara Falls is putting on its own grand presentation. For the unversed, the Falls has a nightly display of fireworks to see every day this summer; the city's summer fireworks season extends right through Labour Day weekend, with a special 10 p.m. showcase on August 31.
Picture this: colourful fireworks lighting up the sky against the backdrop of the illuminated falls — it's one of the most iconic end-of-summer experiences Ontario has to offer.
The fireworks erupt right through the Niagara Gorge, so for the best views, head over to Queen Victoria Park and get comfortable.
The End of Summer Celebration in Tecumseh is scheduled for Saturday, August 30, with fireworks starting at 9 p.m. The event includes entertainment and festivities ahead of the big show, and it takes place in Lakewood Park, located at 13451 Riverside Drive East.
