Here's where you can still catch free outdoor movies in the GTA before summer ends

Summer nights are only going to be a thing for a few more weeks, and if you're looking to make the most of them with activities that won't break the bank, a number of public green spaces in and around Toronto are offering free movie nights all month long to close out the season.

Here's where you can still catch an outdoor flick, absolutely free:

Brampton 
Garden Square

This site features two movies a night, one at 6 p.m. and the other at 8 p.m., respectively.

  • Aug. 23 - Wish (2023) & Mufasa: The Lion King (2024)
  • Aug. 30 - The Lorax (2012) & Captain America: Brave New World (2025)
Chinguacousy Park 

Movie-goers can enjoy films under the stars starting at 8:30 p.m. 

  • Aug. 22 - Wicked: Part 1 (2024)
Mount Pleasant Square 

Catch some of your favourite movies starting at 8:30 p.m. at this square. 

  • Aug. 16 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024)
  • Aug. 23 - Captain America: Brave New World (2025) 
Gore Meadows Community Centre 

The hub makes an effort to create a fun and cozy outdoor space for the attendees' cinematic experience, which kicks off at 9 p.m.

Bovaird House 

Join in on back-to-back viewings starting at 8 p.m.
