A massive vintage car festival is taking over Toronto this month

It’s time to rev your engines — Dream Wheels on Eglinton is cruising back into Toronto this summer for a day filled with chrome, horsepower, and high-octane nostalgia.

Happening on Saturday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., every car lover's favourite street festival (but not every car lover's favourite street) transforms a stretch of Eglinton Avenue West into a vibrant open-air showcase of the city's finest vintage cars, hot rods, muscle machines, motorcycles, and race cars. Honestly, what more can you ask for?

Presented by The Eglinton Way BIA, in partnership with Toronto Hot Rod Kulture and Road Reapers Car Club, the event isn't just a feast for gearheads — it's a full-blown community celebration in support of SickKids Hospital.

Expect a full day of fun for the whole family. Live music will keep the vibe retro and lively while local vendors serve up delicious bites and unique finds. There'll also be family-friendly activities to keep the little ones entertained between engine roars. There is something in it for everyone!

A major highlight? The Best in Show Awards Ceremony, where car owners show off their pristine rides in the hopes of taking home a trophy. And for an extra splash of vintage flair, don't miss the Glamour Pin-Up Contest on the main stage — it's old-school charm at its finest.

So, whether you're a diehard car enthusiast, a curious passerby, or someone just looking for a lively Saturday outing, Dream Wheels on Eglinton promises a day of community, nostalgia, and non-stop excitement.

Admission is free, so mark your calendars and don't forget to bring your camera — these rides are seriously photo-worthy.
