Road closures in Toronto: August 22-23 2015

Road closures in Toronto for the weekend of August 22 and 23 rounds up the key transportation shut-downs affecting the city, including street and TTC closures.

KEY ROAD CLOSURES IN TORONTO

Bloor: Dufferin--Lansdowne. Closed in both directions from Saturday, August 22 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, August 23 at 9 p.m. for Big on Bloor. College Street and St. Clair Avenue can be used by motorists travelling in this area as alternative routes.

Bathurst: Wilson--Laurelcrest. Closed in both directions from Saturday, August 22 at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday, August 23 at 11 p.m. to accommodate the Taste of Manila.

Spadina: St. Andrew--Sullivan Street. Closed southbound from Saturday, August 22 at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday, August 23 at 11 p.m. to accommodate the Chinatown Festival. Dundas Street will be open during this time period.

TTC CLOSURES

Line 2 Bloor-Danforth: Kipling--Jane. No subway service between Kipling and Jane stations on August 22 and 23, for track replacement and maintenance work. All trains on Line 2 will turn back eastbound at Jane Station. Replacement buses will stop at all stations.

504 King & 505 Dundas. Both routes will be turning back west at Broadview due to due to overhead electrical work. The 504 King will turn back at Broadview Avenue, diverting east on King Street, north on Parliament Street, east on Dundas Street, south on Broadview Avenue, west on Queen Street, and south-west on King Street.

505 Dundas streetcars will turn back at Broadview Avenue, diverting east on Dundas Street, north on Parliament Street, east on Gerrard Street, south on Broadview Avenue and west on Dundas Street.

504/505 replacement bus will provide service between Broadview Station and King Street East and Parliament Street intersection, running in both directions via Broadview Avenue, Queen Street and King Street.

7, 160, & 310 Bathurst. Closed between Wilson and Laurelcrest due to the Taste of Manila.

29 & 329 Dufferin. Both routes will turn back north at the Dufferin Gates Loop due to the Canadian National Exhibition.

ONGOING CLOSURES
