Toronto sports venues among cleanest

According to a survey by ESPN.com, the Air Canada Centre and Rogers Centre are among the cleanest North American sports venues when it comes to food inspection.

The survey looked at routine inspections and based scores on the percentage of vendors in each arena in violation of health requirements. Zero per cent of vendors at the ACC and Rogers Centre had critical violations in 2009.

So while you may need to refinance your home to pay for a beer and hot dog at a Leaf game, at least you can take solace in knowing it's been prepared in sanitary conditions.

Another word for this? Sterile...just like the fan-attitude in the gold and platinum level seats!

Rexall Place in Edmonton was the worst in Canada with 25 per cent of its vendors guilty of critical violations. And pack a lunch if you're in Tampa; 100 per cent of vendors at Tropicana Field were tagged with one or more critical violations.
