Kellylee Evans Is Getting Ready To Blow
Props out to Toronto's Kellylee Evans, a talented jazz vocalist who is set to play the Lula Lounge next week. It's a double bill with dub/afrobeat band Kobo Town.
Evans is in that weird place right now, smack dab between absolute unknown and household name. It's a spot that so many Canadian artists find themselves in. But with a long awaited debut CD promised soon, and her constant touring of Canada and the U.S., hopefully she'll soon reach that rarefied air.
