White Ribbon Rocks It

Tonight, a kick-ass line-up is entertaining the people at the Phoenix, to raise money for the 8th Annual White Ribbon Campaign, which is all about "men working to end men's violence against women".

There is a rainbow of ribbons, or plastic bracelets a la Lance Armstrong to support, but starting with the great white is a great idea, and the initiative is pretty hot when it involves listening to Matt Mays, Dallas Green from AlexisOnFire or two Barenaked vocal champions for a mere 25 bucks tonight.

By the way, if you are one of the first 100 North By Northeast 2005 wristband holders in line, you get in totally free of charge. You can read more about it, and the insane line-up here.

NorthbyNorthEast always seems to sneak up on this city, and there are loads of events from June 9-11th to check out... I'm sure there will be multiple posts highlighting the best just for you, coming up this week.
