The Return of The Queens
Just a quick note to inform you all, that stoner rock legends, Queens of The Stone Age are coming to town on March 30 at the Kool Haus.
From the get go, these guys have somehow been able to retain their edge despite the deluge of crap out there, in addition to their ongoing internal problems. They're kinda like Guns N' Roses in that they provided the grit in a time when rock seemed ready to catch on fire because of the abundance of hairspray. It's also going to be interesting to see if former bassist, Nick Oliveri, joins them on this tour, seeing as he's back on friendly/speaking terms with frontman, Josh Homme. Last year, Oliveri was kicked out for being a little too cromag, and was described by Homme as "a tornado." Love those crack pipe antics!
