A spooky Halloween market is coming to Toronto this weekend

One of Toronto's most beloved markets is back with its annual Halloween-themed experience. The Welcome Market is getting spooky this weekend, and here's what to know.

On Saturday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 25, The Welcome Market will open its doors for its annual "Shop Spooky" experience at its two-storey space at Queen and Shaw. What makes it even more special is that the popular market will be celebrating its sixth anniversary that same weekend.

What can I buy there?

If you're in the festive, haunting mood, there's lots to see at The Welcome Market. We're talking spooky candles, DIY costumes from local vintage shops, handmade goods/art, and more.

They will also have vendors such as Cherry Bomb Vintage, Kaju Matcha, Artket Goods, Big Bag Of Vintage, and 15 others.

Founded by Cindy Chau to prioritize representation and community, The Welcome Market hosts over 35 vendors at a time, ranging from vintage curators and handmade jewellery artists to local food entrepreneurs.

Whether you're attending one of their famous Asian-owned markets or an artist pop-up, the energy is always high at Queen and Shaw. It's inclusive and distinctly "Toronto," as they put it.

"Shop Spooky" by The Welcome Market runs  Saturday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 938 Queen St W.
