Huge sneaker and sportwear warehouse outlet opening in Toronto

Shoppers in Toronto are about to get a new spot to score great deals on shoes and sportswear.

Discount name-brand retailer, SVP Sports, is expanding their foothold in Toronto as signage has recently gone up announcing a new location opening in the city this year.

The latest SVP Sports location, which doubles as a sales warehouse for even better deals, will be moving into a vacant space at the Kipling-Queensway Mall, taking over an enormous retail space that once housed the mall's Zellers location.

A slight departure from the brand's past ventures, the new Etobicoke location will host huge warehouse sales throughout the year where shoppers can get big deals on "hundreds of thousands of branded products," like apparel, footwear, accessories and more.

While the precise opening date of the new location has yet to be determined, signage at the mall and online promises that the new store is coming this fall.

There's even more good news for bargain hunters on the horizon, too: yet another new SVP Sports location is set to open at Dufferin and Orfus this summer, though the exact date has also yet to be determined.

The GTA-based retailer, which currently operates 10 locations across the GTA, including four in Toronto, used to operate a downtown Toronto location on Queen West, which was demolished for a new development in 2021.
