Hammer Skateboard is the go to skate shop in the Beaches for boards and gear as well as some longboards and penny boards.
Complete skate setups ($99) from Golden Dragon, Zero, Darkstar, Flip and more are quite affordable (in store only safety gear/kid packages are $89 to $99). Skate decks ($69 to $119) from brands like Real, Plan B, Creature, Almost, and Santa Cruz among others have a good amount of options. Penny Boards ($129 to $179) are also available.
Wheels and trucks ($32 to $79) are pretty much standard in price range. Longboards ($219 to $299) are standard as well if a bit on the heavier end. The safety gear ($29 to $99) is reasonably priced as well.
Accessories ($5 to $266) depend on what you go for, whether it's easily affordable hardware or pricier equipment.
Footwear ($60 to $99) options from DC, Vans, Huf, Emerica and more are also available.
Hammer Skateboard's basement location (below a women's clothing store called Kingsburry Consignment Boutique) draws in locals - many of whom practice at the nearby Ashbridges Bay skatepark.
