SNL star cracks jokes about baffling Pizza Pizza menu item on trip to Toronto
Saturday Night Live cast member, actor and comedian James Austin Johnson had some choice words to share about a new Pizza Pizza menu item on a recent trip to Toronto.
Though he may be best known for his turkey-necked depiction of Donald Trump on SNL, Johnson's distinct brand of absurd comedy has been directed at national treasure Pizza Pizza while he spends time in the city.
More specifically, the comedian took aim at the pizza chain's new cheeseburger poutine, which... yeah, I get it.
In the short-but-sweet video, Johnson assumes the character of cheeseburger poutine, declaring, "Hi, I'm cheeseburger poutine, and when I was 11, my home was invaded."
Does it mean anything? Not necessarily. But is Johnson's video just as absurd as the concept of cheeseburger poutine itself? Absolutely, and that gets a 'like' not only from me, but scores of Johnson's other Toronto-based fans.
The dish, priced at $8.50, consists of all the usual poutine fixings with the addition of ground beef and pickles. Home invasion not included.
