How Chocolate Tales is turning team building into something actually fun in Toronto

If the way to a person's heart is through their stomach, then the way to bond a team is with chocolate.

No more boring staffroom get-togethers or awkward icebreakers – say hello to corporate chocolate-making programs in Toronto. Chocolate Tales runs engaging chocolate-making workshops where teams can spend time creating something together, rather than just making small talk.

It’s the brilliant combination of creativity, collaboration, and the job of making food from scratch that fosters connection. And with flexible formats, all types of teams and skill levels can participate.

Mobile team building

So, what can you expect from in-person team-building packages? The Short & Sweet program is 75 minutes and includes the history of chocolate, a chocolate tasting challenge, an elaborate truffle-making contest, and elegant packaging to take home your goods.

And finally, the two-and-a-half-hour Ultimate Challenge features all of this along with a company-inspired design challenge and team logo creation.

The fully mobile nature of the programs means that they can be done right in the office! Although if you want Chocolate Tales to provide the venue, that’s possible as well.

Virtual team building

Got a remote team? You can still join in on the fun! Turn on your webcam and strengthen team engagement through interactive chocolate-based virtual workshops. Programs like Chocolate Pizza Making, Truffle Making, and Chocolate Tasting are all led live by Chocolate Tale chocolatiers, and supplies are provided to each participant at home.

Chocolate and wine

What pairs better with chocolate than wine? In the guided Chocolate & Wine tasting experience, guests embark on a global journey that explores how chocolate and wine compare in flavour, aroma, fermentation, and origin.

Based at the Chocolate Tales boutique facility, this program includes history, tasting techniques, origin chocolate sampling, truffle flights, and, of course, curated wine pairings. Light food pairings featuring cheese, crackers, and fruit — taking the experience to the next level.

Beyond chocolate

Not everyone has a sweet tooth. Fortunately, Chocolate Tales also offers experiences that have nothing to do with chocolate and everything to do with creating delicious meals to be shared and enjoyed.

chocolate talesThe Italian Ravioli Experience is an engaging and interactive culinary experience where participants collaborate to make fresh ravioli from scratch while learning the traditions behind the classic Italian dish.

The Cheese Making Experience sees teams work together to transform fresh milk into classic Italian cheeses through fundamental skills like curdling, stretching, and shaping.

And the Cocktails + Tapas Team Experience combines mixology and traditional tapas dishes in a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and shared discovery.

chocolate talesThese aren’t just classes – Chocolate Tales is all about hands-on culinary experiences where guests can create, taste, and connect in the heart of downtown Toronto (or at home!). It's also peanut-free, tree-nut-free, sesame-seed-free, and gluten-free and can be vegan upon request.

Show staff, volunteers, or any other type of team or group just how appreciated they are with an unforgettable Chocolate Tales experience. Check out the full roster of corporate programming online and book today.
