teddy bear cafe

Toronto just got a teddy bear cafe

The teddy bears are having their picnic in Toronto thanks to a brand new cafe that opened this past weekend at 82 Adelaide St. East. Teddy Story is the first North American retailer to stock Teddy House teddy bears. Teddy House is a brand from Thailand that sells a variety of plush teddies as well as adorable little outfits and costumes for them.

Unlike Build-A-Bear Workshop, you won't get to design your own teddy at Toronto's Teddy Story, but you can customize your bear with clothing and accessories.

And instead of just selling plush toys, Teddy Story is also a cafe, which means you can share a treat with you new friend if you visit. The eatery serves coffee, fruit slush, cakes and macarons. It also plays movies.

Teddy Story joins a few other themed cafes that've recently opened in Toronto, including TOT The Cat Cafe and the Poop Cafe.
