Nobody seems to agree on the borders of Toronto's East End

When someone tells you they live or work in Toronto's East End, what specific area of the city comes to mind? Is your idea of the East End limited to Scarborough, or more expansive, incorporating areas like The Danforth and The Beaches?

With no clearly delineated borders on platforms like Google Maps, it's one of those hyper-local questions that continues to divide Toronto residents.

We hit the streets to get a sense of where locals place the borders of Toronto's East End, and found that people in the city have wildly different opinions on where the dividing lines fall.

Answers for the western boundary included Leslieville, Woodbine Avenue, the Don Valley Parkway, and Main Street. One person even placed the western border at University Avenue, which isn't even the east side of Downtown, let alone the eastern end of the city.
