If you regularly rely on the TTC's busy 510 Spadina streetcar to get to and from work, your commute will likely look a bit different this week as the transit agency works to repair issues on the route over the next few days.
On Monday, shortly after service issues were first reported, the TTC announced on X that streetcars on the route were being replaced by shuttle buses due to emergency overhead power repairs.
Just ahead of the afternoon rush hour, the transit agency added that there was no service on the 510 streetcar route between Queens Quay Loop at Lower Spadina Avenue and Spadina Avenue at College Street due to service issues.

Transit users were urged to take shuttle buses that were running between Union Station's streetcar platform and Spadina Station, the 509 Harbourfront streetcars between Union Station, Queens Quay, and Spadina Avenue.
In another update on Monday night, the TTC revealed that crews identified an issue with the underground supply to the route's network that could take a "couple of days to fix."
In the meantime, buses will continue to run on the 510 route while repairs are being made.
Beyond confirming that the work will take a few days to complete, the TTC has not provided an exact date for when the streetcar route will be fully operational once again.
