forbes worlds best employers 2025 ontario

17 Ontario companies ranked among world's best employers for 2025

Ontario companies were well-represented in the new Forbes' World's Best Employers 2025 list revealed this month.

One Ontario-based company even managed to rank among the top 15 in the entire world.

Forbes' annual ranking was compiled using data from market research firm Statista, sourced from anonymous online surveys filled out by over 300,000 employees spread across 50 countries worldwide.

Participants were asked to rate their employers on a range of criteria, including whether or not they would recommend working at the company to family and friends, salary and career growth potential, and other factors like the company's reputation and employees' work-life balance.

Nine hundred eligible employers — with global-reaching operations and at least 1,000 employees — were included in this year's ranking, including 29 companies based in Canada.

Of the 900 companies included in the World's Best Employers 2025 list, 17 companies headquartered in Ontario made the cut, including two in the top 100, and one in the top 15.
