Absolute Skyline

Yansong Ma's has won a design competition to build the "absolute" condominium. The design for a 50-storey residential tower was selected from six finalist and it looks absolutely amazing.

I think we need more designs like this a little closer to downtown, but congrats to Mississauga for getting this one. Toronto is a great city for great architecture and we need to keep realizing it with new projects like this. I'm all for Mies Van Der Rohe and our downtown inspired around his Toronto-Dominion Centre but designs like this are so much more interesting.

I hope we see more international competitions for our new buildings because Toronto is always the winner in the end. Maybe this will help us rise above the 10th best skyline in the world.
