Mr. Brainwash unleashes giant spray cans at TIFF
It's day two of TIFF and so far the biggest star of the festival isn't Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Ryan Gosling or Bono. Instead, it's Mr. Brainwash (a.k.a. Thierry Guetta) who first enthralled us with his exhibition at Gallery One and, now, has made his mark on Roy Thomson Hall with a series of giant spray cans commissioned by TIFF. While it's true that the sight of this scruffy Frenchman may not set as many hearts a-flutter like the aforementioned A-listers, one can't deny that he knows how to make an impression. And what's next for Mr. Brainwash? That would be his collaboration with TIFF on the upcoming Grace Kelly: From Movie Star To Princess show at the Bell Lightbox.
