Free Friday at The Gardiner Museum

Looking for something cool to do this Friday but don't have any cash on hand? Well, I have just the place for you!

The Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art, the only museum in Canada entirely devoted to ceramics, has free admission the first Friday of every month. So tomorrow you can check out the new exhibit 100 Years of Functional Ceramics in Canada without dropping a dime. You will also have access to their ongoing collection to peruse at your leisure.

If you do want to spend a bit of money while you're there you might want to check out the Open Clay Studio where you can learn techniques for working clay with professional ceramic artists in the studio to provide guidance. This one happens every Friday with a cost of $10 (plus a $3 firing fee).

- The Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art is at 111 Queen's Park, across from the ROM.
- Free Friday's run the first Friday of every month from 4pm-9pm
- Open Clay Studio happens every Friday from 6-8pm (Cost of $10, $13 with firing)
