B-Boys Battle in King of the Ring

Last night I was perched next to a boxing ring in the heart of Liberty Village. The occasion? Red Bull's King of the Ring, a competition pitting 32 of North America's top B-boys in a single-elimination, one-on-one tournament.

The way it worked is that two competitors would get in a ring at the same time. Each of them would then take turns showing each other up. They'd each get three tries. Then, a panel of three judges would pick a winner.

The battles were a ton of fun and the moves were unreal. The field was crazy deep in talent but Rockforce Crew member Machine stood atop the pack. More pics on Flickr.
