Discovering Bloor West Village, Part 5/7

It's your last chance for Shakespeare! If you haven't been to the Dream in High Park this summer, your opportunity to experience the Bard au natural has nearly passed. Should you need a little shot of culture, or just a different way to spend an evening this weekend, venture into the park for a performance of Much Ado About Nothing.

Shakespeare in the Park, presented by CanStage, is an annual summer event that's worth taking advantage of. But tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday mark the final performances of this year.

One minor warning: although the event is "pay what you can," the "suggested donation" is $15. In other words, don't stroll over - like I did - with only a toonie in your pocket.

To get to the Dream site, use the Bloor St. entrance and head south along the east side of High Park Ave.

Performances start at 8:00; doors open at 6.
