Spice Girls Agree: Baghdad Sucks, Toronto Rules

We don't need the Toronto FC to host Team Galaxy if we want Victoria Beckham to visit our town. Nope, all we have to do is facecrack the living hell out of an online vote, and we get not only Posh, but Scary, Ginger, Sporty and Baby as well. The International Tribune is reporting that, thanks to our facebook addicted populace, Toronto is getting the extra Spice Girls show not originally slated to hit the city.

The girls held an online vote, and were supposedly fully prepared to book a show anywhere in the world so long as it netted the most votes from their rabid fanbase. The closest competition was Baghdad, which held an early lead before our forces mobilized and overtook the city. Sometime in January, Spice Girls' Chupa Chups are going to be sticking out of everyone's mouths. Hit the jump to check out the facebook groups partially responsible for this awesominity.
