Ohbijou and Kids On TV's Bastard Love Child

Posted by Ryan C / January 23, 2007

20070123_kidsohbi.jpgOk, so BlogTO really loves Ohbijou. I've never really been much of a fan, but on January 18th, they teamed up with Kids On TV for a live mash-up on CBC's Fuse program. Hit the jump for details and a link to the hour long set.

Want to hear what happens when electro-punk and ambient orchestral pop music collide? Or maybe you just wanna hear Ohbijou tell the Kids exactly why they have a market value? Either way, check out this link to the CBC Radio podcast. The set lasted an hour, including question and answer sessions. This is a nice warm-up for anyone checking out Kids on TV and Ohbijou's next live mash-up this Saturday the 27th at The Music Gallery, located at 197 John Street (416 204 1080).

Sadly, I won't be able to make it to this show, however, I will be at Kids On TV's next show, February 2nd at The Mod Club. I've yet to see them go nuts on stage, and will be bringing back a full report of the event. In all likelihood I'll be scarred for life, but in a the best possible way.
