Fashion Week Day 2 Feels Like Soft Porn
With all the buff guys, boxers, bikinis and Barbies on the runway at LG Fashion Week yesterday it was definitely feeling a little hotter than usual in the tents.
The afternoon and late evening show (Bustle - video above) showed lots of skin as undies and short shorts seemed to be the theme of the day. As always, we're posting all our videos, photos and snarky remarks in our special Toronto Fashion Week section. All videos are also up on our Vimeo channel. Here's a roundup of the sights and sounds from Day 2:
- Hot guys in suits and models in swimsuits = Bustle
- Porn meets baseball practice on the Travis Taddeo runway
- Video of David Dixon's Barbie show and regular collection
- Jason Meyers proves his naysayers wrong. Or does he?
- Lizares' love affair with muscly guys in briefs

Maybe it was "feeling a little hotter than usual" for Tim, but any normal gal would not find sissies in their undies "hot". Sorry to burst your bubble. Yuck!
LOL! Almost forgot about "The Lover". I had to go back a few days in blogto to find it, but I guess monitoring his activity through http://twitter.com/dimitrithelover is almost as good as a court-ordered ankle bracelet (which I'm sure he is very close to being fitted with anyway). Thanks for re-affirming my hetero-gal yuck vibe about these "hot models".
OMG! That's the most vile twitter I've ever read. Did you read the tweet where he's allowing gay men to attend his next meeting to "lisp their grievances."
Yes, yes. Cute. Enough about Dimitri. Point is that Tim's taste in "men" is not the same as ours. Sorry again Tim. We still love you!
Is it me or did that bring back Undergrad school fashion show memories. Love the fashions hated the concept!
Yeah. Can't say I'm too happy about that. Trust me, I gave them our high res logo to use but I guess they used the web (low-res) one. And, no, we didn't get a chance to see a proof or anything before they printed it. Nor did anyone contact us to let us know there was an issue.
"Why do male models always look they've been lobotomized?"
So do the female ones, but we're so used to seeing women portrayed in the media as passive objects that it seems 'natural' to us. Whereas men are usually portrayed as active and having agency, so this catches our attention as being outside the norm.
