Fashion Week
Ass, Boobs, Short-Shorts, Sport-Mesh All Make an Appearance at Designer Travis Taddeo's LG Fashion Week Show
I like skimpy clothing. High-cut, low-cut, short, scandalous--I love it all.
It's not my fault that I was impressed at an early age by the gaudiest of Versace and Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana! ("Briony loves short-shorts," Danielle Meder of Final Fashion teased as we watched the parade of ass rolling down the runway.)
This is why I dug Travis Taddeo's new collection. There was a lot of ass involved. And boobs.
In a sporty, sexy spring collection, Taddeo showed again why he is one of the more skin-obsessed designers working right now. (He's also pretty hot. In the face.)
Seemingly taking his cues from the slutty-yet-sporty campers of the cult classic Sleepaway Camp , the collection featured sport-mesh as trim and material, and cut-off tops, short-shorts, and cutout bodysuits. It's like baseball practice meets porn!

Racerback tops and cut-off shirts with linebacker-like shoulder pads continued the spring trend of draped tanks and the prominent shoulder, while silk drawstring shorts and halterneck rompers were pieces that would work just as well for evening, showing that Taddeo is at least a little versatile.
Little space-age frocks are big this season, and Taddeo delivered a few as well: his take included a black leather bustier-dress, and a sassy little jersey number with a back cut-out accessorized by fierce fur bandoliers.
And finally? A high-cut, plunging, cutout leather thong bodysuit. I'm not sure where even I could wear it, but hot damn did it look good.

Wow, not attractive.
Ewwwwwww.
This no-pants look is getting out of control.
wear the bodysuit with high waisted tight jeans ... or low riding boyfriends. that would be super hot.
this collection is one part sloth and one part completely unwearable, which is why i love it.
on a side note, blog to readers en masse have really conservative views on fashion, and are extremely quick to judge/criticize. why don't we embrace and celebrate our canadian talent? and what the hell are you up to these days besides commenting on message boards all day while sitting in your lame cubicle?
kisses!
happy fashion week.
I agree with Shawna. The time these critic waste expressing their displeasure would be better spent supporting and promoting designers they have an interest in. Anonymous internet bashing is so boring.
The fashion designers should use better looking male models, the ones they chose are kind of scrawny. I like a little more muscle. Oh, and the clothes are interesting.
