DineSafe TorontoThis week on Dinesafe was milder than last in terms of infraction counts. The yellow and red-flagged last week had seven, nine — even 18 causes for concern, whereas this week was somewhat tamer, topping off at about 10. The worst of the lot is The Friendly Greek on the Danforth, which was caught with a "significant" pest control problem among other issues, along with a Mill Street wine bar, a St. Clair sushi spot, and a Bathurst Street Chinese restaurant that suddenly has more to fix than its perpetually dimming sign. Here are some of the notable Dinesafe offenders this week.

I really appreciate this weekly resource, but how 'bouts someone trim that 3x6 cut and paste header image to 1x6? It's almost the same size as the content of the article itself.

Is it a rage trigger?

Yes it triggers my rage, too, and the image is extremely meaningless.

Don't order the fish & chips at Toby's - terrible - in fact, I wouldn't order much there except a drink.

Just to let people know, Randy's got the yellow card because one of their fridges broke down the day of inspection, since then it's been fixed!!

This is the best recurring feature on BlogTO. Thanks, Robyn.

Its really hard with some of these Green Go Yellow Caution or closed, So of the infractions are staff not wash hands enough between customers, or sink not sufficient and they get carded. Maybe If we could read what the infraction was?

I've lived just up the street from Sea-Hi for 20 years and can honestly say I've never seen any more than one car in the parking lot. That, plus its scuzzy facade, and you wonder how they are still in business.

Yeah, this is a much appreciated feature, I would stress to others that a yellow is just that, a caution. I would only consider a red a serious issue and not judge a restaurant for having, say, a fridge breaking down at the wrong moment. It would be great if, in lieu of the massive header, the addresses were shown on the main page instead of having to click through, but then perhaps that's a financial, ad-based decision.
