I look forward to these every week but I've gotta say that I don't think we're too cool for school. We're self-loathing Torontonians, remember?

The Korea Town tiger gets a shout-out! Excellent! I'll be careful of the laZers.

hahahaha.... it IS all about the pickled green bean, and not only at the Keg, but in life isn't?

Meh, I hear the JKWB is going downhill anyway, might as well try Java... ;)

Oh man you've totally nailed the beard/trucker hat indie music hipster dipshit look.

Don't believe everything that you hear. JKWB is as delicious as ever.
But they don't take reservations for dinner and that could hurt for a lot of men who are expected to jump through rings of fire for a ridiculous greeting card holiday.

Haha - the keg ghost one cracks me up - hot-damn their caesar 'intro' salad is a tasty beast... and that KEG size potato...

I guess I'm showing my abject ignorance here but I don't usually get the references (mostly just enjoy the pretty pictures). Would it be breaking with tradition to provide some sort of cheat sheet or links?

Looking forward to reading (and hopefully understanding) more!

Cheers

Hi Patrick
If you don't get the references i suggest the following:
a)Google something related to the main topic on the drawing or the title of the sketch. Usually the title is a lead to the reference.
b)Explore the city a bit more to find the reference or do the opposite and let the reference find you. One day you'll be walking down the street and you'll find it.
c)Feel free to email me at carlos@blogTO.com and i'll explain/re-direct the reference
d)Tell Carlos to fuck off and ask for your money back :P
