Your Jerrold-less morning news roundup for Thursday January 10th, 2008:

Our nation's latest form of discrimination? Not letting gay men's hearts into our organ donation clubs.

The body of Ilia Vaxman was found after he went missing while ice fishing on the weekend. Heavy fog had been a deterrent in the search.

I went to one of the "scarier" high schools in Montreal and even I was never afraid of getting fucking shot between math and geography class.

The Star has some opinions and quotes on why Toronto trails China in our choice of grocery baggage, while Kari wants us to get on with it and "ban the bags, dammit!" Chester Pape commented that the best bag is a reusable one, plastic or not. I'd argue that the best bag is one that has a 62 inch 1080P HDTV in it, but my wife doesn't agree with me.

Meanwhile, the York and Durham regions have picked their ideal location for their shiny new incinerator. Am I the only one who gets off on fire?

Get a traffic ticket in the past day or two? You and 699 other people.

Admittedly, between the math and geography class is one of the most painful places a person can be shot...

I LOVE that photo, Mike. Dupont rules.

PS This Wolfgang Puck hotel coffee is horrible. I'm looking forward to coming home soon.

Dupont does rule. Best station ever...those benches are totally under rated.

Fine, I'll keep my kick-ass heart and blood, thankyouverymuch. Or maybe I'll donate it to Body Worlds, and request they pose me giving the finger to Health Canada.

Actually what I said was "the best bag is no bag" but the joke works less well with that....

thats why you ask for the 46in HDTV & wait for the 150in TV to come out in a year or two.
