City Pulse Truck Won't Go Away Easy

City Pulse Truck at the CHUM Headquarters
Yep, the wheels are still spinning and making them disappear will be no easy task.

Latest word on the fate of the super-cool City Pulse truck is that because of the depth and structural complexity of the huge "burst-effect" piece, it isn't going anywhere just yet. Apparently, a release lever was just never factored into the design, so even when work begins on removing it, it'd be a while before crews would be able to take 'er down completely.

You gotta love a cheesy landmark that puts up a fight!

But wait, there's more...

In related weirdness, apparently ye old truck contains a "pigeon box" placed there by its creators. The box allegedly contains a bottle of whiskey amongst other items!

Theres a plaque in there that reads: " Pigeon resting place courtesy of Ron Reed" along with a box that contains a bottle of scotch and momentos.
The truck was put up for the 25th Anniversary. It was a close call when they found the original truck in a scrapyard near Glasdstone minutes before getting crushed into a cube.
