Ambitious To Do What?

ambitious.jpgWhile walking home yesterday evening, I was caught off guard by a rather perculiar billboard at the Southwest corner of College and Bathurst. I've asked around and scoured the web, but I can't seem to find anything relating to this piece of what seems to be the beginning of a rather odd advertising campaign. Other billboards along the Gardiner that I assume must be part of the same series (same colour, same typeface) ask you also to BE INSPIRED and BE KEEN.

Any readers care to enlighten me?

There is a another one near the Gladstone Hotel that says Be something or other.

Monster? That's disappointing. But these "you have to work to figure out what we're advertising" ads clearly work like a charm... they just bought ad space on blogTO, and didn't pay a cent! :)

Joeseph Goebbells actually invented this style of ad campaign. I can't quite remember but I think it was to promote a Nazi zine.

I am guessing it is for Yahoo!. The colours match and they are spending a slew of money on ads now.

I would have said Indigo Books. It reminds me of the colour and font as their old ads. Maybe a push for their website?

Actually I think this might be an add for Seiko watches as I saw the same ad ('be creative') high up on the yonge street near Mel Lastman Sq / NYCentre on yonge Street and it was continous to (or at least attached to) to an ad for seiko watches. Strange?
