After the Storm

Power is still out in a number of neighbourhoods around Toronto tonight after last night's snow storm (mine included). I took a walk through Kensington today to grab a bite to eat, only to find out that every single restaurant was closed. Only the fruit markets, the landromat, and a few grocery stores were open for business (only accepting cash).

I stopped by Little Tokyo on Augusta to pick up some rice and dumplings by candle light (and with the help of a flashlight provided by the cashier). It was kind of nice shopping in the dark. No distractions. Only necessities.
