Khan Artist?

As early as yesterday, reports have been circulating that Wajid Khan's old riding association was in trouble. Today, Elections Canada officially delisted the group for failure to submit its financial returns for the last two years.

What's worse, the returns contain what opponents call a laundry list of illegal activities. Questionable loans, contributions way beyond limits, and heavy spending outside election time are just some of the things listed.

Of course, no one in the former liberal riding association knows what's going on. At the time of the Globe's article, the president had already resigned, and the financial officer was no where to be found.

Sounds like Wajid Con will fit right in with his new party.

What's that they say about birds of a feather.......

Liberals should not be crowing too much over this, because he was one of them when he supposedly did those things. All this will achieve is that even fewer people will bother to vote next time.

Khan has been pretty two-faced for years, so I expected him to jump ship eventually. I live in this riding and people are upset and want a by-election... he'd have no chance of getting re-elected.

Smart move by Dion to kick him out. Now next election (in the Spring probably) the Liberals can run somebody else against him and win.
